If you’re an Apple fan, then you probably know all about the Apple AirPods Max, now with USB-C charging. They’re considered some of the best headphones for iPhone users for a reason, after all. But what you might not know is that they’re now at an all-time low Amazon price of $399. This Amazon Prime Day deal saves you $150 off of the $549 headphones. Assuming you already know everything about the headphones, you can go ahead and tap the button below to start your purchase. Otherwise, keep reading for a bit of a memory jogging exercise and a look at why you should pick up this headphones deal.

Why you should buy the Apple AirPods Max

When we first looked at the AirPods Max with USB-C we called them the “AirPods Max 2” (that now seems a step too far, as even Apple just calls them the “Max”) but they really were a step up. For one, a USB-C connection is just better if you have literally any other gear that needs charging. I have a USB-C desk fan, for instance, and I can charge it with the same connection that charges up my tablet. Apple fans lingering in the Lightning era are still juggling with multiple connection types. Then, there’s the AirPods Max lossless audio (which was, admittedly, a bit shakey at the beginning).

That all being said, you can still gleam a lot of information from our initial AirPods Max review, where one of just two complaints is the aforementioned Lightning cable. They’re still the same “fun” headphones, great for Apple fans, provide excellent comfort, and have outstanding noise canceling. Plus, their transparency and call modes are really superior for those of you that can’t stand the thought of taking off your headphones as you go about your day and encounter what each hour brings.

If you’ve ever wanted AirPods Max or have an older Lightning pair, this is the time to upgrade. At $399, a discount of $150 off of the usual $549, the headphones are a great buy. But this deal could very easily be short-lived, as it is here during Prime Day, which ends soon. Don’t procrastinate on this deal.
